- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I am a patient of Dr. Watson at the women's clinic. Last week I became concerned when I could no longer feel my baby moving. I was at 37 weeks. I checked into the hospital for a nonstress test. The next moment I was going in for an emergency c-section. My baby was dying. Lisa and Kelly the labor and delivery nurses quickly prepped me for surgery. Dr.Booker was on call that night. I cannot praise them enough. Courtney the anesthetist had me ready so quickly. When Dr. Booker got my daughter out she aspirated some merconium into her lungs. Dr. Ray the pediatrician and Vanessa RN saved her life. Along with Tammy in the nursery they continued to work on her with the most proficient and professional way so that they could get my daughter quickly airlifted to a nicu. Nancy the recovery nurse worked on me for 10 hours keeping me alive. My body just didn't want to stop bleeding. Dr. Booker stayed up all night with Nancy in the recovery icu just in case. I overheard their prayers. That memory brings tears to my eyes. I finally got taken to a room where I was given the best care by more nurses, Lacey, Brenda, and many more. They were all wonderful and professional. The phlebotomists that had to keep testing me were all very sweet and tender in their job. So many people took care of me and my child. I know I did not name them all here, but I am so thankful for them all. I saw God's hand working through them and took confidence from that during the scariest experience of my life. My daughter is getting the best care at the nicu and is continually improving. Hopefully we will all be reunited soon. Thank you MCSA and all of their staff.
